Dave Racer is writing a series of civics textbooks focused on high schoolers to teach American Government. He’s been teaching this material for 23 years. Now’s the time to formalize and share it with thousands of teens. And he’s developing the “how to” manual for Student Senate. These courses equip teens with a solid foundational understanding of liberty and how the American Republic functions. 

This curriculum starts with how the Founders meant American government and civic engagement should work – their world view, the Declaration of Independence, the original Constitution. Then it spins off into how government really works today – parties, how bills get passed, media, taxation and more. A second part of this program development is a template for others to reproduce Dave’s highly successful Student Senate program – a life changing experience for young people, teaching critical thinking, teamwork and training tomorrow’s leaders today.
