The Summer Student Senate Session

What is Summer Senate?

A student-led, legislative experience unlike any other. Decide on urgent issues to pursue, work with committees, prepare, present, and pass your own bills. The 2025 summer senate will convene July 7-11, 2025. Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a huge end-of-session bill signing (and vetoing) ceremony. Intense, fast-paced, exciting, fun.

Who Can Attend?

Summer Senate will be limited to the first 28 Members to apply. Summer Senate is for you if you fall into one of these categories: 1) Student Senate alumnus - Any Age [priority preference]; 2) Former students of Dave Racer's who have not enrolled in a regular senate session; 3) Friends and family members of any of the above, at least grade 9; 4) High-school or College-aged individuals who'd love the experience

Where is Summer Senate Held?
